Welcome to the first issue of the May Fey Webezine! YAAAAAAAAAAY! This is what we've been waiting for! Drum roll, please!
THE SPIRIT OF THE MONTH:
The spirit of the month is the October Spirit. This spirit loves to trick and treat children on All Hallows Eve. Here is a story about a young girl whom she befriended.
On All Hallows Eve, I was out, as usual, and I was stopping a young boy from stealing his companion's treats when she wasn't looking, when suddenly, a small girl looked up from the doorstep of a house and said, "I see you." Startled as I was, I didn't have time to fly off before she came up to me. That night we became the best of friends! Then, every October, I would meet her and we would go into the wood, and play and talk some more. Then, before I knew it, one October, she didn't come. She never came again. I was so sad I could barely do my duties. Then, one day, a small girl came to my home and said, "Lady of October, I see you!" I ran to the door, thinking my friend had come back, as this was our secret phrase. But it was not so. A girl not older than 5 stood there, and I asked her, "How did you know the passphrase?" And she replied that her mother had told her to come here, and say that phrase. I understood, and now I have a new friend!
REAL SIGHTINGS:
A long, long, long, long time ago, the Cottingley cousins befriended the Beck faeries. Elsie and Frances started it all, taking pictures by the river, and then they noticed something in the pictures, and went back. The Beck faeries were there, and they became the two girls' friends. These are some of the pictures. They have been tested, and found to not have been tampered with AT ALL.

HOW TO LIVE LIKE A FAERY:
- Be kind to all, even those who are not kind to you
- Keep a garden
- Help the fey any way you can
- Help plants and animals any way you can
- Befriend those who tread lightly on the earth
- Be true to the fey
- Dance and sing. A LOT.
- Try to keep your carbon footprint teeny-tiny

FAERY TALE:
Stone Soup:
One day a party of soldiers made their way through the forest, and when they reached a wayhouse, it was dark, and they were hungry and tired. They asked for food and rooms, and the people told them that they were full with soldiers, and the soldiers had eaten all their food. So the soldiers asked for some stones, a pot, and things for making camp. These were given, and the soldiers preceded to make stone soup. This is how it was done. They boiled the water over the campfire and then they dropped in the stones. Then they said, "This would be better with carrots." and the people in the wayhouse got some. Then they said, "This would be better with onions.", and the people in the wayhouse got some. Then they said, "This would be better with turnips.", and the people in the wayhouse got some. Then they said, "This would be better with barley.", and the peolple in the wayhouse got some. Then they said, "This would be better with meat.", and the people in the wayhouse got some. Then the stone soup was done, and the soldiers ate it eagerly, exclaiming that it was the best soup in the world. Then, they lay down to rest, and in the morn, the people in the wayhouse found only the stones.

Incredibly informative, although she tends to focus on flower faeries. That's okay, because they're just so good, and wonderful books to start off with!
UPDATES ON MY MYSTICAL WORLD:
I figured out how to make a faery-in-a-bottle, and I am planning something big! I've also done some stuffs about gaming, but that's not very mystical, is it?

FAERY FEASTS:
How to make Oana Paste.
Assemble the following things:
A banana(s)
Orange juice
A small mixing bowl
A spoon
A masher
Now, peel the banana and break it into small pieces, then put it in the bowl. Mash the banana. Then, pour in some orange juice until you think it's enough. Finally, mix them together, and enjoy!
FAERY SONG:

(while dancing in a circle around, well, a sacred tree)

The Spirit of November:
The spirit of November is a humble, shy spirit, not playful like the October Spirit. Her favorite thing to do is to gather the faeries to play songs to celebrate the beginning of Winter. Here we see her among her friends, making music. As she does not associate with humans much, there are no stories of her.

- Volunteer to pick up trash, plant trees, ect.
- Create a volunteer group

I LOVE THESE BOOKS! An amazing collection of faery tales that is just AMAZING with no repeats. And I haven't even read the entire series yet! I love them, and REALLY RECOMMEND THEM!.

How to make SUGAR WATER:
Put water into a glass, and then pour in sugar and stir. This will attract faeries and butterflies.
